CS Kontact Karate

Shihan Florian Toader is a long-standing Kyokushin Karate instructor in Romania and the leader of the IKO Kyokushinkaikan branch in Bucharest. His dojo is located in Jilava, Ilfov County, where he has been developing Kyokushin Karate and training practitioners for many years.

Florian Toader has dedicated decades to Kyokushin Karate, combining coaching, athlete development and international competition experience. His students have achieved results at Romanian national championships as well as European and international competitions, with a strong focus on preparing athletes for full-contact kumite.

As an experienced instructor and international referee, Shihan Toader is also involved in the organization and development of major Kyokushin events. He has organized international competitions in Romania, including the 16th European Open Karate Championship in Bucharest in 2017 and the 22nd European Open Championship and European Cup in 2025.

Training at the dojo follows the traditional Kyokushin curriculum and includes kihon, kata, kumite, physical conditioning and specialized preparation for competitions. The training process is adapted to practitioners of different levels, from those beginning their Kyokushin journey to experienced competitors preparing for national and international tournaments.

The dojo represents a long-standing Kyokushin tradition in the Bucharest area, built around systematic training, competition experience and the continuous development of practitioners. Under the guidance of Shihan Florian Toader, students have the opportunity to develop technical skills, physical preparation, fighting ability and the discipline required by Kyokushin Karate.
