Tineo Dojo is a martial arts club based in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona, Spain, led by Sensei Jonathan Tineo, a two-time World Champion and seven-time European Champion in Kyokushin Karate. With more than four decades of experience in the sport, he has built an international reputation as both an elite competitor and a coach who develops high-level fighters.
The dojo offers training for children, teenagers, and adults, with classes adapted to different age groups and levels of experience. The programme focuses on Kyokushin Karate, combining technical development, physical conditioning, and combat preparation. Special kumite sessions help competitors improve their fighting skills and prepare for demanding tournaments.
Sensei Jonathan Tineo’s competitive career includes major international achievements, among them victories at World and European Championships, a runner-up finish at the All Japan Open in Tokyo, and the World Professional title in 2015. As a coach, he has guided athletes who have become champions at regional, national, European, American, and World Championship levels.
Beyond regular dojo training, Jonathan Tineo conducts seminars internationally and created Summer Camp Barcelona, an annual training camp established in 2012 that brings together karate practitioners from different countries for intensive practice, sparring, and exchange of experience.
Tineo Dojo combines traditional Kyokushin values with a demanding, performance-oriented approach to training. Its programme supports beginners developing their skills as well as experienced competitors pursuing ambitious sporting goals.
