Cairns Dojo

Cairns Kyokushin Karate Dojo is the official Australian Honbu Dojo of World Kyokushin Kaikan (WKK), offering authentic full-contact Kyokushin Karate training in Cairns, Australia.

Kyokushin Karate is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Training develops not only physical strength and fighting ability, but also discipline, mental strength, endurance, perseverance and the determination to overcome challenges.

The dojo is led by Shihan Jason Crimmin, 5th Dan, one of Australia's experienced full-contact karate practitioners. His training is based on extensive practical experience and direct connection with the traditional Kyokushin lineage.

Shihan Jason Crimmin studied directly under Shihan Trevor Field, 8th Dan, one of the founding members of Kyokushin Karate in Australia and an original branch chief appointed by Sosai Mas Oyama.

Training at the Cairns dojo provides practitioners with a structured full-contact karate program focused on technical development, physical conditioning, kumite and the traditional spirit of Kyokushin. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners who want to develop their skills in a demanding and authentic Kyokushin environment.
