UKS Karate Hajime

UKS Karate Hajime was founded in 2014 by Krzysztof and Dobrosława Habraszka – multiple European and World Championship medalists and among Poland’s most accomplished kumite competitors. Today, they pass on their many years of experience gained on the tatami to the next generation, combining practical competition experience with up-to-date knowledge of training theory, physical preparation and sports psychology.
We are coaches by both passion and education. We believe that karate is much more than learning techniques, kihon, kata or kumite. It is a journey that teaches discipline, responsibility, respect, perseverance and the ability to overcome personal limitations. Our main goal is to support children, young people and adults in becoming better versions of themselves through regular training, the values of karate and building confidence in their own abilities.
Our karate education begins as early as the age of three. We offer several training groups adapted to age, experience level and individual goals. This allows everyone to develop at their own pace – from their first contact with karate, through systematic training, to competitive sport.
For some, karate is a path to improving fitness, coordination and self-confidence; for others, it is a sporting journey and the pursuit of excellence. Our athletes regularly compete at regional, national and international events, representing the club at European and World Championships.
An important part of our work is building a strong community around the club. We organize camps, seminars, training sessions, as well as sports and educational events that help our members develop not only as athletes, but above all as people.
UKS Karate Hajime is a place where experience meets a modern approach to training, and sport goes hand in hand with education and personal development. We are building a community where everyone can begin their own journey, regardless of age or experience level.
