Dojo Sabadell

Dojo Sabadell is a Kyokushin Karate club in Sabadell, Spain, founded in 2002. The dojo is led by Shihan Daniel Sánchez and serves as the So Honbu Dojo of the World Kyokushin Budokai (WKB).

Daniel Sánchez began practicing karate at the age of six, started competing at 14 and began coaching at 17. During more than 20 years of sporting activity, he has achieved numerous national and international titles, including two World Championship titles and two European Championship titles. In 2018, he successfully completed the 100 Man Kumite challenge.

Dojo Sabadell offers training for children, teenagers and adults, as well as dedicated preparation for competitive athletes. Training includes Kyokushin Karate, kihon, kata, physical conditioning, combat technique and tactics, kumite and specialized tournament preparation. Children can start training from an early age and progress gradually toward more advanced technical and competitive preparation.

The club has a strong competitive focus, with its athletes regularly participating in national and international tournaments. In 2026, representatives of Dojo Sabadell won five medals at the 9th European Championship in Trikala — two gold and three silver — while five club athletes became Spanish champions in their respective categories.

Dojo Sabadell also organizes seminars, additional training sessions and sporting activities. Its training system combines Daniel Sánchez's extensive experience with structured, progressive preparation for practitioners of different ages and experience levels.
