Ishihara Dojo is a Shinkyokushinkai Karate dojo located in Minami-ku, Okayama City, Japan. Led by Shihan Nobu Ishihara, the dojo is part of the Okayama Higashi Branch of the World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai and offers training for children, young people, and adults of different ages and experience levels.
Nobu Ishihara began practising karate at the age of 15 and has built an impressive competitive and coaching career. He also finished runner-up at the 1998 All Japan Karate Championships and placed sixth at the 1999 World Karate Championships.
Since establishing his dojo in Okayama in 2005, Ishihara has focused on developing karate practitioners through structured training and individual guidance. Classes are adapted to students’ ages and skill levels, with an emphasis on technical development, physical conditioning, discipline, respect, and mental strength.
The dojo offers programmes for preschool children, young students, general practitioners, and competitors preparing for tournaments. Training follows the principles of full-contact karate while giving importance to safety, etiquette, and steady personal progress.
