LIONHEART

LIONHEART is a Kyokushinkai Karate club based in Odesa, Ukraine, dedicated to developing full-contact karate, preparing athletes for competitions at various levels, and building strong, disciplined, and determined individuals.

The club is led by coach Vladyslav Panchenko. Around 120 athletes currently train at LIONHEART, united by a shared commitment to sporting development, self-improvement, and new achievements.

Over the years, the club has developed numerous champions and medalists at regional, national, and international competitions. Its athletes include Odesa Regional and Ukrainian champions, as well as winners of national tournaments held in Ochakiv, Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv. LIONHEART athletes have also achieved success internationally, becoming European champions and winning international tournaments in Bulgaria, Romania, Belgium, and Germany. The club has also trained athletes who have earned the titles of Candidate for Master of Sport and Master of Sport of Ukraine.

LIONHEART actively participates in competitions and consistently delivers strong team performances. Its athletes regularly win medals, secure first, second, and third places in team standings, and finish among the top three teams at tournaments. These results reflect systematic preparation, the dedication of both athletes and coach, and a strong team spirit.

The training programme focuses on refining Kyokushinkai Karate techniques and developing strength, endurance, speed, coordination, and fighting spirit. Equal importance is given to discipline, self-control, respect for training partners, perseverance, and the ability to overcome challenges.

LIONHEART is more than a sports club. It is a team that helps every athlete realise their potential, pursue new goals with confidence, and proudly represent Odesa in competition. The club aims to develop not only champions but also strong individuals who can overcome challenges and strive for success in both sport and life.
