FIGHTO MAP — An Idea That Was Waiting for Its Time

Sometimes ideas appear long before they become reality.

It is a project by Kyokushin people, for Kyokushin people.

And it is part of prokyokushin

In 2005, we launched our first idea — a map of Kyokushin Karate dojos. At the time, the project was available only in Ukraine. But even then, we had a vision that one day such a map could become something much bigger — go beyond a single country and connect Kyokushin people around the world.

More than 20 years have passed since then.

During this time, we have met countless athletes, instructors, and organization leaders within the Kyokushin community. We have spent many years inside this community, getting to know its people, events, and unique environment.

Over the years, we have participated as press and media at more than 350 kyokushin events.

Our community has long been multinational. The people we know and work with live on different continents, speak different languages, and represent different Kyokushin organizations.

FIGHTO MAP was created for these people.

At the same time, we decided not to limit FIGHTO MAP to Kyokushin Karate alone. Many Kyokushin instructors and athletes also train and teach kickboxing, boxing, MMA, and other martial arts. That is why the project is open to organizations and disciplines beyond Kyokushin as well.

FIGHTO MAP is a multilingual platform, open to all Kyokushin Karate organizations and branches, as well as martial arts clubs, schools, instructors, and organizations worldwide.

This is only the first version of the project. We will continue developing it, adding new features and expanding its functionality.

We are also open to collaboration. If you have ideas, suggestions for developing the project, or would like to become a partner — we would be happy to hear from you.

And most importantly, we hope FIGHTO MAP will help people looking for a dojo or instructor find exactly the place that is right for them.

And help instructors and dojos become more visible and give new students a chance to find them.
