Bielanski Kyokushin Karate Club

Bielański Klub Kyokushin Karate (BKKK) is a long-established Kyokushin Karate club in Warsaw, Poland, with a history dating back to 1992. The club was founded by Mariusz Mazur and Andrzej Niedzielski, who established their dojo at the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw. Over more than three decades, BKKK has developed into one of Poland’s notable Kyokushin Karate clubs, with generations of athletes achieving medals at Polish, European, and World Championships.

The club is led by Shihan Mariusz Mazur, 6th Dan, who has practiced Kyokushin Karate since the age of 12. His early development under the guidance of Sensei Maciej Mierzejewski had a significant influence on his career and approach to martial arts. During his own competitive career in the 1990s, Mariusz Mazur was among the leading Polish Kyokushin competitors. Over the years, he has participated in numerous training camps and seminars and has personally organized more than 200 of them.

Mariusz Mazur has also played an important role in the development and organization of major Kyokushin events in Poland. In 1998, he initiated the European Tournament of Champions, which became the foundation for the European Open Kyokushin Championships. He later served as the main organizer of the European Championships held in Warsaw in 2004 and 2015. Under his guidance, BKKK has produced numerous medalists at Polish and European Championships.

The club moved to its current main dojo at Leopolda Staffa 3/5 in Warsaw in 2010. Today, BKKK offers training for children, teenagers, adults, and competitive athletes, combining Kyokushin Karate with physical development, education, discipline, and a family-oriented atmosphere. The club also organizes camps, seminars, examinations, and karate tournaments, continuing a tradition that has made BKKK an important part of Warsaw’s Kyokushin Karate community.
