OKINAWA DOJO

OKINAWA is a Kyokushin Karate club in Uman, Ukraine, led by coach Kateryna Slutskaya, who has many years of competitive experience at national and international level.

Kateryna Slutskaya is a multiple medalist at Ukrainian Championships and Ukrainian Cups. Between 2006 and 2009, she regularly achieved podium finishes at national competitions. In 2004, she won an international tournament in Mykolaiv.

She also competed at international tournaments and European Championships. In 2007, she represented Ukraine at the European Championship in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she placed fifth. In 2008, she competed at the European Championship in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

For her coaching work, Kateryna Slutskaya was named Coach of the Year 2023 by the National Federation of Kyokushinkai Karate Union of Ukraine.

In her coaching, Kateryna draws on her own competitive experience, focusing on technical development, physical preparation, kumite and the systematic progression of athletes. Training at OKINAWA is designed for both beginners and practitioners who want to develop toward competitive karate.
