SC "Nadezhda-Gabrovo"

SC „Nadezhda-Gabrovo” is a Kyokushin Karate club based in Gabrovo, Bulgaria, affiliated with the Bulgarian Kyokushin Karate Federation (BKKF). The club is represented by coach Krasimir Iliev and has an active presence in Bulgaria’s national karate competition circuit.

The club trains athletes in Kyokushin Karate, a full-contact style that combines technical precision, physical endurance, discipline, and fighting spirit. SC “Nadezhda-Gabrovo” has achieved notable results at Bulgarian national championships and cups, particularly in children’s categories. In 2026, the team won first place in the overall standings at the National Cup “Vereya”, earning four gold, one silver, and two bronze medals. The club also secured second place in the team standings at the Bulgarian Children’s Championship for competitors aged up to 8 and 10, held in Veliko Tarnovo in June 2026.

These results reflect the team’s commitment to systematic training and competitive development. Through participation in national events, the club provides young karate practitioners with opportunities to develop their technical abilities, confidence, and experience on the tatami while representing Gabrovo.
