Club Karate-Kan is a historic Kyokushin Karate school based in Zaragoza, Spain, with a story that dates back to 1968. The dojo was founded by Shihan Antonio Piñero, whose decades of teaching, competition and organizational work played an important role in bringing Kyokushin Karate to a wider audience in Spain. His connection with the international Kyokushin community and experience under leading figures of the style helped establish a strong foundation for the development of Kyokushin in the country. Over the years, Karate-Kan became a meeting point for practitioners and a place where many students developed their skills through regular training, seminars and national and international events. Today, the Kyokushin school continues under the direction of Sensei Héctor Lahoz. Since 2019, the wider facility has operated as KAN 1968, while Club Karate-Kan remains the dedicated Kyokushin Karate school within the center. The Zaragoza facility also brings together several other martial arts and combat sports, creating a broader training environment for practitioners. With its long history, connection to the development of Kyokushin Karate in Spain and continued work with new generations of students, Club Karate-Kan remains an important part of the country's Kyokushin community.
