Shinkyokushinkai Karate training in Ammersbek, Germany, is led by Sensei Anastasiia Mikhalova and is part of Hoisbütteler Sportverein. The programme welcomes children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to experienced karate practitioners.

Anastasiia Mikhalova is an accomplished karate athlete and experienced coach with an international competition background. She has won German championship titles and multiple European Championship medals. In May 2026, she won bronze in the women’s -50 kg category at the WKO European Championship in Batumi, Georgia. Her competitive experience contributes to the training process and the development of athletes.

Training combines traditional Shinkyokushinkai techniques with targeted physical conditioning and practical self-defence. The programme includes kihon (basic techniques), kata, kumite, and exercises to improve strength, endurance, coordination and movement control. Particular emphasis is placed on discipline, respect, perseverance and self-confidence.

Children’s classes focus on motor skills, coordination and body awareness. Young practitioners also learn age-appropriate self-defence techniques and respectful interaction with others. Teenagers and adults can systematically improve their technique, fitness and fighting skills, with opportunities to prepare for competitions.

Athletes interested in competition can pursue further development and gain experience at tournaments. At the same time, training supports personal growth and allows each practitioner to progress according to their individual abilities and goals.

Shinkyokushinkai Karate at Hoisbütteler Sportverein combines traditional martial arts values with a structured training approach. Under the guidance of Anastasiia Mikhalova, practitioners can improve their skills, pursue new goals and develop both athletically and personally.
